Heater Vacuum Control - Replacement with NAPA HC205?

Hi,

I've got a 1962 Chrysler Newport wagon that I'm in the process of replacing the heater control valve on. My cable control arm was also bent (no doubt from a previous stuck valve), so I removed the heater control switch assembly. Unfortunately one of the (7) plastic vacuum nipples was broken (should have read the tip about just cutting/splicing the vacuum hoses!), and I wonder how many others will break when I try to reinstall it.

I saw a tip on the website about using the Napa/Echlin HC205 switch, listed here:
http://www.napaonline.com/NOLPPSE/(S(nvy1uiqwu2wbjjnyr1khg555))/Detail.aspx?R=ECHHC205_0058666513

My question is, what type of modifications are required to make this switch work? Has anyone done this, and would you recommend it? Any other tips/tricks as far as installing, wiring, etc.?

My car has no A/C.

Thanks for your help!
