Re: Speedo gear




The gear is held onto the shaft by a fancy c-clip.  I might have a spare clip and a spare gear.  Also, there is a flat strap the bolts to the case to hold the gear head into the tranny.  I can photo that to you.  If I have second spare of a color or clip, I'll be glad to sell if for reasonable price.  What is your gear count?

Hi all. Is the gear on the trans end of the speedo cable replaceable and 
if so who has it? My cable is not broke but there is a flat spot on the 
gear. Is there a hold down bracket or clip that holds the cable in the 
trans? Mine was just stuck inside probably bouncing around on the output 
shaft, no wonder it's tore up.
