Re: ZDDPlus Zinc Oil Treatment Again

It is an additive that is no longer used in standard oil. All the turbo and blower cars run it. It is available at Kirbans Performance. They are a Turbo Buick / Grand National supplier.

Thanks

I just bought a new racer brown flat-tappet cam and they told me to throw one bottle of "this stuff" in the oil with every oil change. They said they have had zero failures associated with it.

I just looked at the bottle and you know, it is Erson brand, 4oz, and made by ZDDP.

I trust Jim at Racer Brown implicitly... and will use the stuff. The chemistry of it seems strrightforward and logical.

I hit the wrong key and sent too soon!

I saw this listed in the Eastwood catalog and I am starting to get
concerned about the new oils.

Is this a product that is worth using? Anyone have any suggestions for
other products?

Thanks
