Re: Re[2]: Studebaker wheels?

hmmm, way back, when I got my Dodge wagon, we determined that the 14" rims that were on it were not Mopar but Ford rims? I replaced them along time ago because the bolt holes were worn and rusting out. still have them in the back yard. what is it, about the Ford rims, that doesn't let them fit? maybe there not Ford rims after all?
just curious.

and do not forget Rambler, but the problem with most of
these vehicles that
are being mentioned is that they are no longer being made,
and are just as
scarce as the mopar wheels

15's with early dog dish hub caps is a good
tip. Thanks
Robert. Here are a couple references

 http://www.studebakervendors.com/index.htm

The alternative is having later year's Mopar
15 steel
wheels modified to use the early '60s style
center to
hold the dog dish.

I read recently that Studebaker 15"
steel wheels
have the same stud
pattern (5x 4.5" presumably) as
'our'
62-65 b-bodies so can be used to
mount the early 10" dog dishes.
Recommended by Bob
Mosher, apparently!

Anyone on here tried this? What's the
alternative
if you want 15's with
early hub caps?

And does anyone know a source for these (and
the hub
caps), apart from
ebay?

Thanks in advance
