When I got my 64 Dodge service manual, I noticed that it did not include the taper axle and wondered if there was something wrong with my manual. I guess for some reason the factory didn't feel the need to include them. I do have my 56 Chry service manual that covers the taper axle and wonder if there were any changes up thru 1964? When I can find an affordable 742 case with sure grip and a 65 later B body housing- I will install them....................................MO..........SW Iowa -------Original Message------- From: Christopher Gleffe Date: 2/1/2009 6:01:37 AM To: Herb; 1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: 1959 to 1963 rear axle shaft Dear Herb, Thank´s a lot so far.....the 8 3/4 info is just what I needed. Lots of changes. Mostly bolt pattern changes. Other than that, they're the same. Jimmy ---- Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
