John, Don't use poly, use polygraphite. The poly squeak, the polygraphite took care of that with graphite impregnated in them. The polygraphite bushings will give you a stiffer more controlled ride and last forever. You already know what rubber drives like and that it will wear out in time. That said if it is not a daily driver this will be the last time you will probably have to replace any bushings for a long time. It comes down to personal preference on the type of ride your looking for. Soft = rubber Stiff = polygraphite Herb St. Louis, MO. -------Original Message------- From: john althaus Date: 2/5/2009 10:51:26 PM To: 1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx Subject: Poly vs Rubber I know this has probably been asked before, We are rebuilding the front end on the Savoy and are looking for input, use elastomer / poly bushings or go back with the rubber oe stuff and why?
