Don,I agree with you on the Poly popularity as well. Just had a e-mail conversation with our Poly friend in North Dakota and he mentioned a conversation he had with Dick Landy saying "yes, the Poly was ahead of its time..." and my discussion with Bob Walker of Hot Heads that "the Poly makes HP similar tothe HEMI" when build properly..."
Actually, a true 400HP engine is quite a handful and the Poly can do that requiring less cam, less compression, less CFM head flow than the LA motor...
