Re: remove grille frame

I dont know how your front bumper is mounted, but if it is like my 56 Chrysler, the bumper brackets bolt to the frame horns and is easily removes as an assembly. About 4 bolts and it all comes off. Which chrome plater do you use? I have found some bumper platers not far away and their prices my be better even with shipping.. Yup, if you don't have a 57-61 over there, you are somewhat insignificant . :-)...................MO sw iowa ----- Original Message ----- From: <62pluckedchicken@xxxxxxxxx>

Hi Steve,

I was hope'n not to remove the bumper... I was gonin to wait until next
winter to take the bumper off and have it rechromed... (the local
plating shop says it takes 6 to 8 weeks to get the bumper done)

Maybe I'll just wait on the grille until then.. I want to drive my baby
come spring...

Yep I'm from Omaha, and occasionally post on FL (but I always feel like
the b**tard child over there ;)

Are you Steve with the '56 Chrysler?
