Hi Bill,
I would run that drill at least a couple of minutes if it were my engine and occasionally turn the engine over by hand but then I get truly nuts about priming these things., I say again, install a mechanical test oil pressure guage if possible, engines are too expensive not to be sure.

As far as the actual priming goes, I just hooked up my cordless drill
and cranked it for about 30-45 seconds. That should be good...right?
