To confuse the issue-- since new cars were in the showroom in September, 
could they start production by June 21st? And 68 Roadrunners were so popular 
they may have extended production on them --also the 1969 were not that much 
different, so would have been easy to switch over production of them fairly 
late I don't think Ma Mopar played with hard rules! Just a thought
