Over on the Forwardlook site last week, someone posted a link about a
device that installs out of sight and connects in line to the AM antenna
cable. It has a wire with a plug that you can connect to a CD player, an
Ipod, sirrus sattelight, or other similar devices.. When you plug it in, it
disconnects the antenna signal and maybe the radio tuner, but plays one of
the devices through your radio and sound system. Costs about $125 Sounded
good to me. If anyone is interested I will try to find the
link.......................MO...........sw iowa

Subject: More radio stuff
We had a discussion here, not too long ago, about radios. Here is some
text from an ad:
"This is a rebuilt 1965 Plymouth AM Radio. This radio came out of my 1965
Belvedere but should fit other models. Mopar model number, 224, Bendix
model number. 5BP. This is a repaired working radio. The tuning mechnism
has been cleaned and lubed. It works smoothly and the push buttons work. I
have replaced the dial lamp. Sorry I do not have the the knobs for this
radio.
"I have added an auxiliary input jack for a MP3 player or Portable CD
player. The radio will auto mute when a MP3 player is plugged in. Use the
players volume and tone controls to change settings. The radio has been
aligned and I have added longer power and dial lamp wiring. The radio
sounds good and has plenty of volume. Any player, MP3, CD, IPOD and
Walkman will work all it needs is a headphone jack. Note: Many MP3 players
also have FM tunners in them."
I did not know you could modify a stock AM radio so it played FM and MP3
CD. Interesting option!

Thanks,
