The Chrysler Windsor and Saratoga used the 354 poly again in 1958, as did
the Canadian-built 1958 Dodge Custom Royal and DeSoto Firedome.
The 354 poly, as it was available in the Windsor, came with a 3-speed manual
transmission as standard and automatic optional. Again, no overdrive,
although as the Dodge could be had with overdrive it might be possible to
use the Dodge transmission, etc.

The 354 was a Hemi head engine in 1956 only ( exept for truck and
industrial engines) and in at least 1957 was fitted with poly
heads.........................MO.................sw iowa

331 hemis were put in Saratogas (1951-52), New Yorkers and Imperials
(1951-55). None offered a 3-speed manual, with Fluid Drive or Fluid
Torque Drive and the 4-speed Fluidmatic semi-automatic (1951-53) and
then Powerflite automatic as standard equipment.
The 1956 Chrysler Windsor offered a 331 poly (same engine, different
heads & other internal parts) with a 3-speed manual transmission as
standard equipment and Powerflite optional. No overdrive, though.

Gonna be tough finding a early Hemi with a manual tranny. Most likely
will have to use a custom bellhousing
adapter...........................MO...........sw iowa
