I know what it does, but what kind of distributor and coil do you use? Could you use a stock type dist. with Pertronix inside and a stock appearing coil?............................MO.............sw iowa----- Original Message ----- From: "Herb" <zephyr9900@xxxxxxxxxxx>

Take a look at the Pertronix unit & coil http://www.pertronix.com/default.aspx I have never talked to anyone that has had a better outcome with a MoPar unit than a Pertronix unit in a street car. Now that said, if your looking for the race/upgraded look of the MoPar unit all I can say do a clean install! If your trying to look as stock/original as it came from the factory Pertronix is the only way to go. Every thing installs in side your stock distributor DONE and your not drilling holes, cutting into your harness, splicing wires and increasing the load on your already fragile electrical system. I have the old one out. I am interested in any tips and suggestions from someone who has done this before.
