RE: Mopar Electronic Ignition & Pertronix

I'm guessing that I probably used #14 black wire, I just grabbed some 
out of the scrap box.

I used a couple of adapters that go on the male prongs of the ballast 
resistor that convert each male prong to 2 male prongs then I connected 
the original wires back on the ballast resistor.  I made a jumper about 
5" long with female connectors.  I connected it to the 2 new male 
connectors on the  ballast resistor.  The jumper is long enough that I 
can tie wrap it with the original wires and not be seen.

You could easily use a straight adapter that connects two female 
connectors together and just unplug them from the resistor and put the 
adapter between the wires. If you don't have one of the adapters just 
use a very short lenght of wire between two male connectors. 

I have a number of different adapters for the push on connectors.  I 
don't recall where I got them but they come when I got an  assortments 
of connectors.

I went with a simple jumper because I want to drive the car from Yuma 
back to Arkansas where my brother and friends helped me build the car.  
The car was built to be a driver. I like but don't trust electronics.  I 
will have a stock coil and point type distributor in the trunk.  It 
would only take minutes to swap it out.
