Breaker bar on the crank bolt and a prybar wedged at the other end of the crank. Engage the tip of the prybar with the converter ring gear and leverage against something cushioned with a block of wood.

I don't have access to my impact tools presently and need to remove the crank bolt and pully so I can take off and reseal my timing cover on my poly 318. I've considered trying to swedge something in back by the flex plate but am a bit aprehensive about doing that. Anyone have any tips on how I might get that bolt out w/o impact tools? Thanks in advance (again - you guys are GREAT!!!) Brian
