The lenses were messed up on my Fury the same way.  I had one of those
Mothers Balls that you install in a drill for waxing your wheels.  I started
with polishing compound and buffed every thing smooth then went to wax and
buffed it to like new.  It took about an hour to do both lenses with
excellent results, hard to tell from new!  Also if the silver / reflective
area of your T light assembly is corroded get a can of chrome spray paint
and paint it, it will be far better than nothing.

After discovering that tail light lens are $150 a piece. I decided to
take a stab at working with ones I have
 
The lenses were completely opaque (I thought they had been painted) even
after washing in detergent you still couldn't see through them
 
I used some super glue to repair a crack in the left light, filled the
sink with clean water (no soap) and sanded underwater with a 3M
microfine sanding sponge...
 
turned out good enough for a driver :)
