Dont quit, Keep going back. If you cant win them outlive them is my motto. Cruise ins are fun . I to get the cold shoulder from the REAL mopar guys. I have learned not care. I still meet a lot of decent folks there. It is a night out for me and the bride. Some car folks and they dont have to be our brand are just bums and snooty. In any other venu they would be the same. I have decided not to let them spoil my fun. I meet guys I knew 30 and 40 years ago sometimes and that alone makes it worth while. Next time dont park near them find your own favourite spot and enjoy the evening with foldks who stop by to chat.

I have to say I was a little disappointed when I went to the local crusie-in tonight... being a fantastic night (low 70's, no wind) a great turn out, must have been close to 50 cars... (I'll bet a third we're 55-57 Belairs) anyway I found my way to the only 2 Mopars, a beatiful metallic gunmetal '67 charger (i think 67), and a 70's something Yellow Duster.. well I felt good.. I had found kindered spirts! I pulled in next to Charger hopped out of my car, and said "this must be the Mopar section" they both said "yep" and turned away... questions about theirs cars went unanswered, I could not engage them in any sort of conversation, I was toally invisible... These guys couldn't be anymore cold if they were dead... I Don't get it... a 62 can't get no love? or maybe my "plucked chicken" t-shirt turned them off (are there people that take offence at naked poultry?) Oh well I came, I saw, I won't return ;) ----Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
