Re: Anyone near Wilmington, NC???

It might smell an sound like a scam but i would checj k it ut. Last monday I picked up a complete 5/7 hemi free. It had been there since sept last year and no one went to get it because it sounded like a scam. It wasnt. It was 100% complete motor that had a leaky head gasket but actually had no damage otherwise when I inspected it on disassembly. A freind clued me into it. I went immediately. It was hard to believe but it was legit. last year as Joh will tel you I bougt a set of almost brand new 5.7 hemi heads for $20 in Dallas. Same deal . My freind Mike Siestma has been buying up early hemis for hs Willys project. Same deal , chased down all the leads when eveyone says it was baloney. So far he has 5 engines and has onle spent $700 total. I aint from Missouri but you gotta show me. It might be a scam but what if it isnt?

P.S. If you sent me to look at it and it was legit... I'd buy it out
from under you and drive it home from there.. not wait for a shipping
company...

and I wouldn't consider that cheating you.. If I did the leg work and
liked the car.. I would be entitled to buy it.

what are the odds that there is a green 71 challenger in both Fairfax

Maybe she's a "Car Gal" but the AutoTrader listing gives lots of
detailed info, anyone with that much knowledge about the car would
kind'a have an idea what it's worth...

or she really hates her ex-husband ;)

I've bought 3 cars off the Internet.. everyone I went to see myself,
with a big wad of cash in my pocket...

Check-out the VIN a head of time, call the states DMV about the title,
and when you get there make sure you get the title and the VIN numbers
match...

I don't understand why people willing to risk thousands of dollars for a

car they don't know for sure even exists (you can get photos anywhere),
but reluctant to spend $100 to $300 on a plane ticket.

If your gonna spent thousands of dollars on a car isn't a few bucks for
a plane ticket worth it.
