Re: What CD player installs in a 65 Satellite... FM converter and Sirius Radio

Since the dash in my 64 330 is black I put the magnetic disc/dot (about 2" dia.) in the center of the dash speaker grill area, dropped the lead wire down into the defroster vent and came out through a small hole I drilled in the pass. side supply funnel. from there route to the unit. This keeps the wire short and hid quick and the antenna has an un- obstructed view of sky. I was concerned about reception but MANY installers have assured me that this was a perfectly fine method and not that far removed from the usual install method in most semi-trucks. Have yet to test it for sure but it's waaay more sanitary than running something out of a window and is hardly even noticable in my case... maybe this would be a option that would work for you as well.............

Bill, have you found a way to disguise the Serius antenna? Thanks/Butch/Ferndale, WA

I've got the same setup. I bought an FM converter, then hooked up a

Commercial free cruisin tunes!
