hi
when i switched rear ends out of my 64 savoy with a 65 rear end it was about an inch shorter on each side . i did the same thing to the 63 dodge polara that i have now(with air shocks as well)..
i was able to put a set of 60s on but not with out using air shocks as the standard stocks would let the tires rub when some one was sitting in the back.
