Re: 1965 8 3/4 question

The Mopar Chassis Manual has a good table of the various rear axle dimensions.  I threw a '68-69 Dana in my '65 Bevedere and everything fit right per the table, if I remember correctly. Anyway, that Dana fit fine.

I am wondering if we are all comparing apples to apples?  We should be using outside axle flange to outside axle flang where the wheels bolt up against.. There probably many variences if measuring housing flange to housing flange, backing plate to backing plate or brake drom to brake drum. And when they speak of " track width" that could mean different things to different people..............................MO
