Re: Adjusting valves another way



The way I always adjusted the valves on my race motors was to do it like
this:
When the exhaust valve just started to open, adjust the intake. When the
intake valve opens all the way and starts to close, adjust the exhaust.
I'm talking doing one cylinder at a time. Chrysler has a way to adjust
several valves at the same time by having the engine at TDC, then going
90 degrees and adjusting several others. Don't have the chart about it
so I can't tell you which valves you adjust with each turn. Someone else
on the list may have that to post it.
