The fellow got a quote from Tri-City for 1963 Plymouth "B" cores without bumper guards: $495 (each) outright or $395 (each) with core exchange. Plus shipping. That's more in line with musclecarbumpers, but still higher. By the way, on the vendor's page there is this listing: "Auto Medic Supply, in Tehachapi, California. At Mopar shows or you can ship the bumpers to them. They have free shipping back to you. Phone 866-441-7039" But that phone number is now the same as Muscle Car Bumpers in GA. Same business with a different address? Anyone know? Thanks, Gary H. -----Original Message----- > > >Thanks for all the suggestions! > >$690 to $1700 is quite a difference between two shops doing the same job. I guess the proof will be 5 years later to see how each shop's replating job holds up. But it was certainly worth a shot at that price difference.:) > >By the way, most of the links on musclecarbumpers.com don't work, and their show schedule posted there is still stuck in 2006. I was going to add them to the 62-65 Vendor's page but I'll think about it a while.
