5.7 or a 6.1 crate motor is a bolt in with mods to fuel & incorporate a
computer.  Worked well in my 63 Fury.  If you want to change tranny check
with Steven Charette on this site (Imperial services) he can modify your
shifter to operate a new T Filte.

Hey i was thinking about swaping my poly motor from my 64 plymouth with a
newer motor like the 4.7. Would it be hard to put in? Could i use the
excisting tranny for it cause i would really like to keep the push buttons.
