Keep the original steering column and wheel. Change only the steering rod.

Subject: Re: power steering columns 1965 B?
Will an A body steering column interchange?
I think one issue is the original 1965 Plymouth is a 4 speed so the
steering column is plain. The power steering column will need to not have
a gear shift selector, so it needs to come from a 4 speed car as well. Or
a previous year PB B Body (more plentiful), if the '62 to '64 power
steering columns will work on a 1965.
Thanks,
Gary H.

A 65 Dodge column rod will interchange with a 65 Plymouth Satellite. Done
it. Coupler kits available from the dealer.

Hi all,
A fellow asked me what power steering columns will fit in his 1965
Plymouth Satellite. He is converting from manual to power.
Any tips?
Thanks,
Gary H.
