The tape is a good suggestion, however I have picked up a set plastic tools 
 now,,,,,,,I say plastic, but probably more toward fiberglass,,,,they are 
tough  and do not scratch or chip like metal ones,,,,,,

Subject: window trim help


I have a 1964 Dodge 440  2  dr hdtp. Can someone give me advice or tips on 
removing the Windshield and  back glass stainless trim that surrounds 
them?( outside) We got the side  -dripedge trim off as they were fastened 
with screws, and the sides  of  the windshield.   Don't want to just go 
prying away as  I want to save the trim. Any help is  
appreciated............................MO
