I have a California Car Cover made of NOAH material, had it almost 10
years. It is soft like felt on the underside, but quite stiff. It is a
bit bulky when you fold it up.  It holds up well on windy days.  It
keeps the car totally dry, but breathes too.  I use in mostly in the
garage, but if I take my car away for a weekend, it goes with me.  I
don't have anything to compare it to, but I have been VERY happy with
it.
