I've got 2.5 inch Flowmasters on my 383, (2.5 from the
headers to the rear bumper). I wouldn't run anything else even if they were 
free---the sound is awesome, but not loud enough
to draw attention from you know who.....I bekieve they are
the '40' series. Hope this helps you out,  Warren
