If it's a 4x4 then it doesn't have the OD 4-speed. It has the granny-gear low first gear kind.

Can't give you any feedback on your application. I just picked up an 87 D100 Custom Cab slant 6/904 shortbed from my step-grandson. Got to do a few things to it before I get it on the road.
