Dave:I was going to put one, 392", in my parents 62 Dodge Dart back in 65. I realized I needed an adaptor for the 318" Torqueflite. It was available from Art Carr Transmissions in CA. I think he is still around. We flew out and saw him back in 1966 when we switched it to a 56 Austin-Healey.

Does anyone know if it'll bolt right into my '64 Belvedere's K member? I know a 426 will, but I don't know about a 392. Can I use my small block Torqueflite with it? From what I've been able to determine, I may need an adaptor, but otherwise it should work. The transmission is freshly rebuilt, so that's why I would want to keep using it if possible.
I don't remember ever seeing a 392 in a '60s era B body before, but then again, my memory isn't all it used to be cracked up to be.
