putting it back and adjusted everthing right.shifted fine then it qiut
shifting .as soon as it got warmed up.i took the transmission out and took
it back were i had it rebuilt and he tore it back down and he said the the
small bearing that goes to the (small aluminum pump the bearing fell out of
place it is one little ball bearing)what it does if it is missing it will
let the fuild go by and not biuld up enough pressure to allow it to shift.
just guessing here.

Okay... Our 64 Polara is on the road... We've adjusted the Lokar,
readjusted the bands to exact specs... We take her out on the road, and
the first run she shifts first, second, and into third. She never
shifts back down and keeps slipping. After the first run, she no longer
shifts... Any thoughts? Servo's?pumps? The fluid is right on...
Never ending issues... Just need some help... And thanks all
Layne
