RE: Bumber Re-chroming

This is a question that I have too.

I have a front bumper with a bend in it from someone hooking a chain to 
the K member and yanking the car out of a ditch or snow bank.

Can the bumper be straightened with a press and being careful?

I figured that I would use one of those small presses (12 ton) and with 
some blocking, slowly push the dent out.

Any of you try this?  If so, did it work?
