off topic help needed

 i have my sons 91 caddy  2 door deville ,,the window regulator ,,has a plastic strap that feeds threw  the window motor ,,i can not figure it out. i bought a new tape,,,but i can not find a picture of how to install it has anyone ever done this or has a place too get the info i need  with out tearing the other door apart ???? any help will be good  i have never seen anything like this set up ,,,,  thank you ,,
