RE: parts cleaning / media blasting

Agreed - it's a blast (groan).

One thing I'm sure most are aware of but I wanted to pass along anyway - use
good ventilation and/or a properly fitted respirator when using silica sand
for blasting. Jim's got the right idea. Silica can become imbedded in the
lungs and cause the formation of scar tissue which can lead to a respiratory
disease called silicosis. This is nothing to mess with, and will severely
limit your enjoyment of your Mopars.

I love having my blasting cabinet. I kept checking craigslist and one
turned up.  Ran a big fan and pipe directly from the cabinet to the outside;
no mess at all. Flip on a couple of switches and presto, what was old is
new again.
