Doug, use medium then fine polishing rouge. Use a medium then fine buff wheel on a bench grinder. Worked well foe me.

It took several coats but the anodizing finally lifted off.  I used aluminum cleaner to shine it up but the trim doesn't look very reflective.
Any input as to what would take to make this aluminum look more chrome-like?
