Butch: I have a TIP unit that works pretty well, most of the time. Nevertheless, these

things are tempermental as H, that's for sure. See if you have some water in your air drier unit.

Moisture is enemy number one, for sure. You sure have enough pressure. How about the tip? The opening

may be too large or oblong and that can reduce pressure and spread out the spray too much.

Put a tennis ball in there and press the tip against it for a few bursts...that often clears out 

clogging and gets you going again (for awhile). If your media is too dirty, full of rust and scale, or

Heaven forbid, has some grease or oil in it, then your day is done for sure. You may want to change it which would also address moisture issues.

If you remove all the media, might as well take a second air line, remove the tip, and blow out the feed hose

in reverse. There may be something hung up in there.

 

The bottom line is, one thing may work one day, and not at all on the next day!
