Thanks Stan. I don't think it is a fuel problem because no change spraying ether in the carb. Ballast resister usually lets the motor start then dies. Condenser is new about a year ago. 
Timing should be okay as the car ran great prior to transforming into boat anchor status. The distributor is not loose. I have a spark tester I will dig out and see if spark is getting to each plug.
