I had the same problem with mine being installed on a stock intake,

When I first installed the 750 on my new Edlebrock intake the vaccum
secondary linkage was hitting the choke well on the intake and causing a
similar issue. I had to clearance the well a little for the linkage to
clear and that fixed it. Also, make sure there are no vaccum leaks.
