My 64 Dodge is Dune Beige and the support is body color. This car is all 
original and has not been repainted. I have a 65 Med Blue Plymouth Bel 1 
with 57,000 and it is body color also.

Light cars got black paint sprayed from a "pit" as the car want overhead and 
was sprayed at a 45 degree angle. This is as you know so no body color is 
seen though the grille. Black/dark blue didnt get this process.Dark colors 
only
