RE: W wiper pivots

Steve,
The wiper pivots are not serviceable. Install the zerk per the
instructions and give it a few shots of grease, 999 out of 1000 free up.

The large black donut goes over the knurled end that the wiper arm
mounts on. Lube it generously with dish washing detergent, and it will
slide over. That bushing will press against the bottom of the cowl panel to
keep water from running down the pivot.

My pivots ( bellcrank that goes thru the cowl ) shaft is binding in its
housing. 1964 Dodge B body. I see there are kits to re-seal it and install

grease zerks. I can not see how to remove the shaft to clean it and lube
it. The kit shows a thick rubber bushing that I can't figger where it goes.

Can someone please tell me how to dis-assemble the shaft from the housing ,
and how the kits install? That and take apart the pedal asssembly is my
project for the day...Thanks for any help.............................MO
