This really pisses me off I just renewed my MoPar Enthusiast script till may of 2012 by phone. They took my money and were soliciting a longer term with out uttering a word about being in trouble. The only light at the end of the tunnel is that MoPar Collectors Guide will credit us up to 12 issues of there Mag with a new or renewed subscription to M C G on what ever is left of your subscription with M E. You have to submit the mailing label from M E to get the one for one issue credit. My problem is I just renewed with M C G through March 2013.....well I guess I'm going to be good till 2015 now. Wonder if I can get a future T-Shirt credit for those extra years? Maybe, if you have lawyer (I know bad word), have him send a letter asking for a refund, stating you didn't buy a genetric magazine, but one about Mopars. Glad mine ran out, saves me the hassle. :-( DJ --- On Fri, 10/22/10, Bill <Y1TopBanana73@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: From: Bill <Y1TopBanana73@xxxxxxxxx> Subject: RE: Mopar Enthusiast Magazine To: mml@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx, "62-65 Mopar List" <1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Friday, October 22, 2010, 7:45 AM I wrote to the publisher of the now dead Mopar Enthusiast Magazine, and here's what I got... "Dear Mr. Maurits, Mopar Enthusiast is not being discontinued. It is being incorporated into our new publication Auto Enthusiast. The first issue of our new publication -- Auto Enthusiast -- is scheduled to mail out 10/29/10. This magazine will be replacing all of our other automotive magazines -- essentially combining all seven titles into one. The front section will include "Show Stoppers" (cars that won "best of show" or "best of class"), an expanded "New Products" section, as well as a buyer's guide with components which cross the brands. This section will also have a number of articles not directly related to the other sections of the magazine -- such as driving experiences, issue related items, science, or those articles that include more than one brand. There will then be four additional sections -- Corvette/Chevy , Mopar, Mustang , and Classic (pre-1972). There will be at least one car feature in each section, tech stories, and more. Auto Enthusiast is designed to be more than a magazine -- it will be a reference source which allows readers to keep information handy. Current subscriptions to our publications will be transferred issue for issue. After you receive your first issue, if you still want to cancel, you may do so at that time. We don't offer refunds, but you can choose one of the following options. 1. Transfer the subscription to a family members name and address and send the remaining amount of the subscription to them. 2. Transfer the remaining about of money to a Product Account. You could order automotive type supplies at www.amosadvantage.com. 3. Start a subscription to one of our other publications in your name. We offer craft, stamp, and coin publications. If you have additional questions, let me know. My office hours are Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm EST.
