Re: Heater

I have a couple that I would like to rebuild and make available.

Does anyone have a good substitute for the slide material?

Subject: Heater

Hey guys, I'm trying to get the heater switch in my 64 Polara working.
It's not switching vaccum controllers like it should. I replaced the
non-working original 4 port vaccum switch a few years ago with a new 5
port A/C switch and just cut the bottom button off. I don't know if the
problem is with the switch or something else. I can get hot air out the
defroster, but only cold air out the bottom. Am I correct in assuming
the A/C switch routing is the same as the non A/C switch internally, or
are they just not compatible? Does anyone have a working 4 button switch
they'd like to sell?
