Dan: want to thank you and Roger for all the info.I (duhh,,,,finally) looked at my parts book and sure enough I see that smaller sender on the exploded view of the 361-383-413's.Geez...I guess what threw me was having 3 of the wrong "bell" type senders from 3 older engines, including the 440 that was in thejunker when I got it. Guess that was hooked up to a gauge at some point! Believe me, the wire, gauge, circuit board, and gauge are good so this has to be the problem!
