Too weird: now compression tester stuck?

Hi all

Just when I thought it was safe to work on my poly 318....

I got a loaner compression tester from Auto Zone and hand threaded it in. When I tried to remove it I can't get the hose out of the spark plug hole! Apparently the hose part is turning but the threaded part is not. I tried turning while pulling the hose and turning while pushing the hose. No luck. Any tips?
