Re: 318 good news / bad news

Last tube leak I had in my radiator, I cleaned it with a wire brush, and 
took my torch and soldered it shut.  The brush on flux seemed to work 
better than a rosin core solder..

None of the stop leak would fill it and keep it sealed under pressure.  
Soldering it guaranteed to me I wouldnt be out in 110 degree weather and 
get stranded.

That patch was still working fine when I killed it with a fan a couple 
weeks ago.  with the re-core, I went from 2 core OEM efficiency to a 3 
core high efficiency.  I dont think my 273 will ever have cooling 
problems again :)
