There is a tech article in the august 2008 issue of MoparMuscle that walks you through step by step on refurbishing your dash cluster. I used the same steps to do the radio bezel as well. Turned out great.

I used a soldering iron to melt the plastic attachment points and used it again to melt it back together. Worked great.

Hi Steve,
Funny you should pose this question, yesterday I took my license plate lamp lenses from paint oversprayed to clear with wet sanding followed by two step Novus plastic polishing. They turned out quite nice. It takes some elbow grease. I believe the only way to separate the cluster is to drill/ grind off the melted pegs and glue back together. Good luck!

Has anyone had success with removing all the fine scratches from the clear plastic cover over the speedometer and guages? Also the radio dial. That plastic face is attached to the rest of the assembly with melted plastic studs. Anyone have a way of getting it off? Thanks for any input....................MO
