Re: High Flow Thermostats

Add an electric fan and turn it on when the water temp. reaches 150 degrees.  Horsepower is heat.  The more horses, the more heat.  A big radiator, 26" three core or four core should work.  Summit and Jeg's has this stuff cheap.

A declutching fan (mine has a flex-fan) works just fine.  Make sure your car has a radiator shroud if it came with one from the factory.  If it did, it needs one, even with all the other changes.

Should be good up to 600 HP if you remember to keep the electric fan off.  Or never turn it off.

Subject: High Flow Thermostats

Does anyone have any experience with these?  Do they work?  I will be installing a high flow water pump in place of the stock unit on my 440.  Hoping it will make a difference.
