Re: dash pad 64 polara vs 65 Coronet

For a fact the '65 Plymouth dash pad is smooth.  I THINK the '65 Dodge pad is ribbed.  (B-Body discussion)

isn't the '64 dash pad ribbed and the '65 smooth?

62-65 Mopar  guys,

Can anyone tell me if Charlie is correct about the dash pad ( see below) being the same for 65 Coronet and 64 Polara?
It  is a little less expensive than Just Dashes if in fact it is the same  and the clips
fit into the same holes.
Now that I have the windshield out, it would be a good time to paint the
metal and install a new pad.
Thanks

1964 Polara

David---- the only nice black dash pad I have is the 1965  version. I
believe that it is the exact same shape and attaches in the same  places as the
1964 models do, the only thing that basically change between the  1964 polara
models and the 1965 Coronet models was the outside sheet metal. A  nice one
of these restored black dash pads is $325.00 plus actual insured  shipping.
You can let me know if you are interested in either of these items and  I
have also restored steering wheels to new or better in some cases for  many
years for customers worldwide. Thank You Again very much for your interest
in my Classic Mopar Parts & Services, Charlie.
