Gary gave me a tip on how to put them on a
server. Or I can email a whole folder and it will go through
quicker. But I only have about half of the pics named and you can't tell
what they are by looking at a bunch of numbers and letters until you open that
file. Plus, most of the other pics are very large size and I can't resize
them as I am using old software and I can't find a photo program that does what
I want it to.
Your idea is great and I'll work on it. I
know how slow dial-up can be. I was the computer guy from the state of PA
until I had to go out on disability because of my back. I went out at age
55 but I was in such bad shape I could have gone out much earlier. But I
wanted to work as long as I could. Now I get my check every month and I
don't have to feel like a moocher. I paid my dues. I also served my
country for 4 years in the USAF which makes me feel even less
guilty.
As a state worker, when people came in for large
mining maps to be printed out we had all the expensive equipment and I had to
make everything work and I did. We were supposed the public when they
wanted us to print them out a map by my buddy who was a mining engineer and me
felt that they had already paid for it through their taxes and we refused to
charge them so much as a penny. Not all govt. workers are lazy, useless
jackoffs. Those kind of people are usually in management.
Thanks a lot fir the feedback,
Chick
