Jim, Go with the 275's...there is no such thing as too wide in my book. I have no rubbing problems with 275/60/15's on my unmodified 65 Coronet. The only thing I did before I put them on was install new springs (which it desperately needed anyway). They are nothing special, just 5 leaf units. I think I have the same size tires your are proposing up front too. And they look DAMN good too!!! I'll try and remember to take a pic after work of the back of the car. The guys in my car club always say "it looks like an old super-stocker from the back with those nice big meats on it".
